Who provides appointments at Chelsea Hughes Aesthetics?
All appointments and follow-ups are provided by Chelsea Hughes, a Registered Nurse since 2008 with experience in oncology and critical care nursing. Chelsea holds advanced aesthetic certificates from the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine, including programs accredited by the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA).
What is your approach to cosmetic appointments?
Chelsea Hughes Aesthetics takes a consultation-focused approach centered on proven strategies, patient education, and individualized care. Appointments are designed to support informed decision-making in a private clinical setting.
What can I expect during my appointment?
Online intake forms and consent must be completed prior to your appointment. If Botox is suitable for you, a prescription will be provided by the medical director. Consultations are also required and free. This can be performed separately or just prior to treatment. Consultations include a health history review, discussion of goals and concerns, current skin care practices, and an individualized assessment. Patients are provided with the opportunity to ask questions and can refuse treatment at any time without penalty.
What qualifications should I look for in a cosmetic injector?
It is important that patients know if their provider is a regulated healthcare professional with appropriate education, licensing, insurance, and ongoing training in aesthetic medicine. A detailed consultation, professionalism, and open communication are also important factors to ensure the partnership is a good fit.
