Cosmetic neuromodulator injections are more common than you think. Many men and women are starting cosmetic injections in their 30’s and even in their 20’s. The earlier the treatments start in life, the better you can stop time and have a more youthful appearance into your senior years. Of course, regular SPF use is a huge factor here as well, which I discuss during my consultations. Neuromodulators are most commonly known as “Botox” however that is referring to one one brand (the original) on the market. Canada Health has approved a number of products that function the same way - relaxing the muscles of the face or neck to help improve current wrinkles and prevent future wrinkles. The brand choice is often personal and based on past experiences, but for most, it can be hard to tell the difference.

Hyperhidrosis is the medical term for excess sweating. This is most common in the hands, underarms, and feet. Due to the delicate nature of the hands, I do not treat this area. But injections to the underarms or feet are very effective and can last for 6 months to 1 year!

There are a couple of options for this treatment:

BYOB: Bring your own therapeutic Botox from your pharmacy and I will inject it for you to your underarms or feet. Flat fee of $150 + GST, regardless of dose required.

No prescription? No problem. I can provide therapeutic hyperhidrosis treatments using my stock of Botox. This will be charged based on units required and is not eligible for benefit coverage.

Current Pricing is $7.00 per unit. This is discounted compared to wrinkle treatments because the injection patterns are fairly straight forward and I believe everyone should have access to this amazing, life-changing, treatment.

Please allow one week to stock the appropriate Therapeutic Botox for your treatment.

TMJ (temporomandibular) disorder or TMD can cause pain in your jaw joint or surrounding muscles while chewing. Sometimes even moments of a “lock jaw” experience can result. You should consult your dentist if this is your experience so they can assess your bite and need for a night guard, since that’s when we clench the most. If your dentist thinks you could benefit from Botox treatments to your jaw muscles, I’m hear to help. Depending on your needs/goals, expect to require 30-60 units of Botox at $7.50/unit + GST.

You may even have coverage for this treatment, so I encourage you to talk to your insurance company about it prior to booking an appointment.

Lot's of people have success using Botox to treat chronic migraines. This treatment is often covered and provided by a physician. However, since the migraine treatment pattern is specific to pain receptors, this can leave the face looking a little unbalanced cosmetically. That's when I am able to work my magic and fill in the gaps of the patient's appearance and make everything even and smooth :)

I reccommed you book your Cosmetic Treatment with me 2-3 weeks after your Migraine Treatment.
